A lovely book. A set of stories about young people in Malmö, southern Sweden, who live somehow on the fringes of society, some of them with ambiguous sexuality which they discuss openly. Lovely, gentle stories, like a 'love story to Malmö, each section of the book set in a different quarter of the city, complete with hand-drawn maps and drawings of prominent buildings (by the author's husband). I understand that the author lives in Australia (and this book is not easy to get hold of in the UK) but, presumably, she grew up in Malmö as she knows it so well. I love books about places by those that know and love them and this was no exception.
